According to our information, the parties have agreed to make the internationals available for the six scheduled meetings. Each player will only be able to play a maximum of three matches and Fabien Galthié will only have a group of 31 elements and not 42 as he wished. However, this group will be able to evolve each week. Three players will be put at the disposal of the clubs every Wednesday evening.
So… i did’nt make the maths fully but, if you have 6 matches to play that means 90 spots to give in the starting 15. 90 starting positions divided by 31 players in the group equals 2,9. Each player will starts 2,9 times for a match out of a maximum of 3. This feels pretty dumb. This number will lower with the rotation of 3 players per week and with possible injuries but this still feels pretty dumb.
