Oakland A’s offering free tickets in exchange for vaccinations at Coliseum

The Oakland A’s will offer COVID-19 vaccinations at the Coliseum in exchange for two game ticket vouchers starting Monday.

The team announced the program Friday in coordination with local healthcare providers and MLB’s “Vaccinate at the Plate” program to increase vaccination rates. The clinic will be located at the Coliseum’s Eastside Club and be available to anyone on gamedays; no game ticket will be necessary.

Fans will be able to receive the free vaccine without an appointment up to 90 minutes before first pitch and through the fifth inning of each home game. No insurance is required and the clinic will be offering the Pfizer vaccine for people 12 or older. Adults can receive the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

If you receive the first Pfizer dose through the program, you can come back for your second dose and get another voucher for tickets, according to the A’s.

Those who arrive without a game ticket can access the vaccination area via the BART ramp.
