Eels hooker Reed Mahoney and Cowboys winger Kyle Feldt are in line to make their Origin debuts for Queensland with the Parramatta rake set to start over Harry Grant.

Storm superstar Cameron Munster has been named despite bidding to return from a foot injury.

Melbourne teammate Harry Grant has also been named as he bids to return from a hamstring injury.

Tigers forward Joe Ofahengaue has been named, while Dragons halfback Ben Hunt was controversially overlooked.

It is understood the 20-man squad was named while Green awaits injury reports on key duo Cameron Munster (foot) and Kalyn Ponga (groin), while back-rower Felise Kaufusi is fighting a tripping charge at the NRL judiciary.

The bench is expected to be made up of Grant, Su’A and Titans prop Mo Fotuaika, leaving Ofahengaue and Cowboys forward Coen Hess to fight it out for the final spot.

Should Kaufusi be suspended, Su’A will come into back-row with David Fifita, which would see both Hess and Ofahengaue on the bench.

In the backline, five-eighth Munster will be given every chance to prove his fitness, as will fullback Ponga, who is trying to overcome a groin injury.

Titans ace AJ Brimson provides cover for both Munster and Ponga if either fails to recover in time.

Capewell is expected to partner Dane Gagai in the centres with Fledt putting pressure on Xavier Coates and Valentine Holmes for a wing spot.
