Fikayo Tomori’s dream move, Marina Granovskaia’s dilemma and Dayot Upamecano to Chelsea update

Chelsea returned to winning ways last weekend in the FA Cup third round.

Mason Mount, Timo Werner, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Kai Havertz were all on target in a routine 4-0 victory over Morecambe to book their place in round four of the competition.

But can Chelsea build on that performance when they’re back in Premier League action this weekend?

Frank Lampard’s side have struggled in the league of late, suffering four defeats in six, and find themselves 10 points behind new leaders Manchester United.

But given the nature of the season so far, a run of wins could place the Blues back in contention.

Although, at this point, a top-four battle seems more likely to await Lampard and his squad during the second half of the campaign.

At present, the Chelsea squad are preparing for this weekend’s Premier League game against west London rivals Fulham but there’s plenty happening behind the scenes.

So who better than football.london’s Chelsea pairing of Adam Newson and Sam Inkersole to give their thoughts on some of the big talking points at Stamford Bridge right now?
