Abhishek Bachchan shares a mesmerising throwback picture of mother Jaya Bachchan on her birthday, says ‘love you’ – Times of India

Veteran actor Jaya Bachchan turned a year older today. To this Abhishek Bachchan took to his social media handles to share an endearing birthday wish for her dearest mother with a monochrome throwback picture of the senior actor that is making netizens and celebs nostalgic.

Pouring his heart out for the birthday girl, Abhishek wrote, “Happy birthday माँ। Love you.” The picture truly captures the beauty of Jaya Bachchan with her exclusive signature at the bottom that read ‘Jaya Bhaduri’.

As soon as he posted the picture online, Bollywood celebs rushed in to shower love and heartfelt birthday wishes for the actor. Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya’s granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda who was seen all hearts for the picture, added in the comments, “Stealing this” reffering to repost.

Hrithik Roshan commented, “Happy Birthday jaya aunty”.

Meanwhile, presumably this year the Bachchan’s are likely to have a lowkey celebration at their plush residence, just like last year, owing to the surge in COVID-19 cases across the country.

Prior to her birthday, Jaya was seen travelling to West Bengal for joining in the election campaign.
